As I was reading blogs this morning - one of the bloggers posted this -
God reminds me of 2 Cor 12 9But He said to me, My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and [a]show themselves most effective in [your] weakness. Therefore, I will all the more gladly glory in my weaknesses and infirmities, that the strength and power of Christ (the Messiah) may rest (yes, may [b]pitch a tent over and dwell) upon me!
Just as I have been feeling a bit overwhelmed once again by some of the day to day "life" stuff. This was a nice reminder. There is a plan in all of this somewhere. Whether I see it or not.
The challenges for K. and I. - the stress of her challenges - sadness for missing family - feeling invisible at times to my family and other family members - thinking about changing jobs -
I lean on God the most when I feel the weakest. That is when I pray the most. Reminds me that as much as I like to think I am in control, I am not. I get those reminders often. That is when I get blue. I like to think I can pull everyone I love tight to my chest , wrap my arms around them, and keep them happy and safe. when I start to feel things slipping out of my fingers. But then I have to realize that when things are slipping out of my fingers, they are slipping into God's hands where they belong. My prayer today is that I can take comfort in that.
