I give you - the 80's prom queen....she wore the prom dress a friend's mom loaned her. Heels with sock....she was supposed to have a tiara and blue eyeshadow but the tiara was broke and she never made it to the eyeshadow...also no contacts since she put fake nails on and couldn't get at her eyes! By the time she got around to trick or treating, she is in jammie pants and didn't even bother with candy. A few of her friends were here, and it was all about the candy.
Then there is the mad scientist. Literally put together that night. Wish the picture showed his hair better - literally standing on end with hair Glu. A lab coat, beaker set and voila - scientist!
They were both a bit peeved this year that I was not buying anything. But I think they did a great job and am going to insist the same again next year.
We hung in the driveway with the fire pit burning, passing out candy. K had friends over - that may not happen again - oh the drama of being a 14 year old girl. Overall - for halloween here, it was very quiet. Not nearly as many kids as usual. Much more low key. Fine with me.
Now that is over with - let the real holiday festivities begin!
