Beds are *almost* done

But first I had to show you my front door right now.
The bluebells and tulips are so pretty together and the lilac smells wonderful. No candle in the world can smell the same. It seriously needs cut back after is finishes flowering.

This is one of the front beds. Ja dn I spent the better part of Saturday getting all the shrubs in. After some great recommendations from the landscape manager at the nursery. I am not as good with shrubs as I am with flowers, so I told her what "look" I wanted and she made these wonderful recommendations. Shewas all about my "Looks natural I don't like all the plants in a uniform line tastes"
Everything along the fence will be taller, and the junipers in the front will stay low.

There is a sand cherry in the corner that is a faublous red leaf, that will deep in the fall. It will also get big and full. The Wigelia on the end will also lend some red to the bed, to contrast the yellow of the mops, and blue of the junipers. There is a big empty space in the middle of this bed, that I believe I hear begging me for a birdbath.

This bed is smaller than the other one, as this tree was closer to the property line.

The view from the street.
Now all I need is some color from perennials and we are good to go! Getting an online order this week with some different coneflowers - pink and lime green! Yea.
Then I will bore you all to death with more pictures of my flowers!

Later this summer when everything is *in* , the front bed by the porch needs a serious overhaul....wonder if we can find some discarded railing to put in!? I wish!
