I got scolded for not sharing. So - here is our new bedroom furniture. I am so excited. Never ever in my adult life and in the 20 years Jim and I have been together have we owned furniture that matched. As a I noticed around the house this morning, this IS the only matching furniture in our house. We are slowing adding to and replacing pieces, but there is always something more important. A couch here, a table there. This was a big step for us. All we have had for years is a bed frame with those round wooden tables from WalMart on the sides. I have coveted a new bedroom set "foreva"! You see - we don't carry debt. If we can't pay for it, we don't get it. So this was a big step for us. It was one of those no payment, no interest deals...til 2009! We have 2 1/2 years to pay it off. So we took the plunge. Now maybe I will get motivated to get some things up on the walls. I have pictures i want to hang, but want to have enough money to put them all in black frames. This is called Attic Heirlooms. Made to look distressed and old. It is amazing the difference it made in the look of the room. I LOVE it. The finish even goes with the antique washstand.

Donna - it was on clearance at Kohl's about 2 years ago....I have looked for it since and have not been able to find any part of it anywhere. I love it. It is so luxurious but I got it way cheap!! I won't let dh touch it. I want to keep it nice for a long time. So it gets folded down every nite and there are blankets under there. :O)
