I have had three seperate people this weekend, ask for more Disney and also compliment the blog. As usual, I was shocked they are actually reading and double shocked that they asked for more! One even suggested I get advertising and blog for money. That will never happen but I appreciate the vote of confidence. I thank everyone for their kind words. Really, honestly, not a whole lot of thought goes on around here, I basically write what is in my head, wish I could write some that I can’t and just blather on and on, happy to entertain!
So here is installment number three Disney – I figured I can’t make you wait for Magic Kingdom anymore!
There aren’t really any “stories” of anything special. We really did what everyone else did…but I am sure as I see these pictures I will think of something….Oh! There was one morning, when I was getting the back pack screened, that one of the security gaurds told us that they had sent someone away that morning that was honest to goodness trying to get into the park with a LIVE chicken! yes, folks, a LIVE chicken. I would have paid to be there to see that one!
We went to Magic Kingdom randomly and often for shorter periods of time throughout the week. I realized going through the pictures, I have the least number from MK! Go figure! Took this one just because you have to, every time you go. I have pics somewhere of me, and me and J in front of this wall 20 odd years ago….but since they aren’t digital….well you know the rest…..
And of course, the 127 pictures of the castle…..
Our first day we ran over to the park, and arrived just as the Electric parade started….
Won’t bore you to tears with all the pictures J took, except Pete’s Dragon – one of my FAVORITE Disney movies….
And the kitchen supplies C kept insisting that I HAD to have…..as cute as they are, I do not feel the need for a Mickey drain plug and $40 plastic Mickey wine glasses…..
One of the most fun nights we had, was late in the park, riding all of the old fashioned “little” rides…It’s a Small World of course. It was great to see K get all giggly and happy to be riding Dumbo at midnight!
This post would not be complete without C’s favorite in Disney, Buzz and the aliens. We rode Buzz’s ride quite a few times. We also attended the Monsters Inc. Laugh Factory three times. They actually have way to make the cartoons interact with the audience and it is hilarious. (as well as air conditioned!)
You also can not go to Disney and not ride the tea cups. I just had to make C promise he would not spin the cup!
Seem familiar?? :) The cup seemed much larger in 2002! None of us could get our knees in this year!
Minnie’s house!
And no King Arther’s in our house huh?
The kid’s favorite lunch…..according to them, the best hot dogs ever!
Splash Mountain at midnight!! The ONE ride they would both ride. Never did get C on Thunder Mtn Rairoad, well he did agree but when he finally did, we were out of time to wait.
Exciting huh?? There are so many more pictures in the other parks……There is something so magic about Disney, we had so much fun in the park, guess too much fun to stop to take pictures!
So tomorrow….hmmm….Hollywood Studios? Animal Kingdom???
The anticipation is killing me! Teeheee….
