We took some breaks….

DSC_1126

You’d never know how cranky he was about the pool breaks….this posture look familiar?

But there were two days when we were in Disney, that were particularly hot, even by Florida standards. Pretty much what is predicted here in the next week, but I digress…so the kids and I voted that swimming was a more pleasant option than standing in the mid day heat. So we swam after a late breakfast and hit the parks later. I think one of these days, was also one of the nights that we were in the parks until 1 am. Much cooler at 1 am than 1 pm!

Shades, just like Dad, and yes, leaving them on to swim.

Really think we need a slide and home.

And boy is the multi-shot option on the camera fun! Always followed by – did you get that mom?

You will notice, yes, the sunglasses stayed on for the slide.

On an unrelated note- Just sitting here, wondering, when the heck did I start to grow chin hair like I am an 80 year old woman?? I mean really!! I don’t consider myself too vain. I make myself up in the morning, take the time to pluck, fluff and check all the vitals,no mom-jeans, you know all the important things,  but I don’t hover around the mirror all day. I have noticed an increasingly ensuing battle with hair being in places it was not when I was 20 something. That I can accept.  But I KNOW I , shall we say, “groomed’ this morning, yet, as I sit here, pondering my words, and rest my chin on my palm, and feel, not just one, but gee, let’s say a small party of hairs on my chin, that I know were NOT there this morning. What am I watering these things? If I sit still long enough in the day will I see these things grow!?  This is one *cough* sign of aging *cough* that I am not sure I can deal with. I mean come on people, once a day is enough!!  I am having flash forwards of being that little old neighbor lady with a full beard! Seriously, laser treatment….let’s consider it, I will not be that old lady!
