so we spent the day with paper hats....and model magic, and making wax designs with hot wax. My favorite one. :) No matter how many times we sit through that demo - C loves to watch the machines make the crayons. Even got to wrap one himself this time around.
K. had to point to the macaroni and cheese color on the wall at their favorite attraction - the gift shop!
And C. had to have a picture of the biggest Crayon in the world.
Our first big planned trip for this summer. So many plans, so many days have flown by......I really feel like we didn't even "do" July yet and it is August! Vacation in 16 days! Then - Oh my lawd - SCHOOL STARTS!Oy.
Sleeping in is pretty much over...tennis starts at 8 am every day until school starts. That has been a rude *awakening* - pun intended - every morning. :) She is loving it though, and more motivated than ever to make the team. She is getting better every day but keeps comparing herself to the older girls. Getting over it slowly. We are delighted to see her have a passion. This is new to us. Enjoying every second.
So here's to the smell of a fresh crayon and the anticipation of brand new markers and drawing pads awaiting our car ride to TN!

Way to go, K, on the tennis practice! You go, girl!
Don't tell anyone, but a couple of years ago, a friend of mine was visiting from Canada and we both went down to the Crayola factory. Shhhh. We enjoyed it as much as all the kids that were there did. ;)
I have never been to the factory. This kids went with school and daycare more than once. BUt I never went. I don't think my 15 yo would be too happy to go with me now. I might be wrong..... I might just have to ask. I want to see the biggest crayon in the world!
