FINALLY!

Finally!!! No rain!!!
Believe it or not, the water was about 80 degrees.
Even I got in! Lots of jumping. The kids were pretending that noodles were horses.

We lasted until our body temperature equalled that of the water, and then we got out shivering.

But then - the part I enjoy just as much. We all sat outside the pool, reading, chatting, snacking....just being together. No agenda. No plans. No rushing.

"What the heck did we get ourselves into?" has turned into, "I could get used to this!"

On other news, we have spent the week at vacation bible school. I have been helping the first grade class and having fun. Kaite has been helping in the craft room with the preschoolers, and Chris participating. He is even memorizing his bible verses like a champ!

And guess what? NO PLANS outside of this house this weekend! Can it be?? Believe me we will enjoying it immensely!
